"Jonas M. Church and Miss Bessie Henry ride in a two-horse carriage in La Grande, Oregon, circa 1900. Jonas Church was, at one time, a principle stockholder, manager and cashier of La Grande National Bank. Also elected Mayor of La Grande, 1899. Miss Bessie was a bookkeeper for J.C. Henry."
