Description
The 1954 commencement is held on the front steps of Pierce Library. In conjunction, the building will be dedicated and a dignitary will place the original Oregon State Flag in the custody of the library. In anticipation of the unveiling events, the "Walter M. Pierce Library" sign hanging above the doors has been covered over with evergreen branches.
