Graduates and students are pictured here in the impressive Evensong ritual, a traditional part of commencement week ceremonies at Eastern Oregon College. It is a stirring pageant of singing and marching. The Queen of Evensong and six princesses preside over this event. -- Hand-painted color." [Written on the back: "Dear Mr. Goode: I wonder if you could tell me whether the copies of the gift booklet will arrive by the first of next week, since I have tentatively accepted an engagement on Wednesday to talk about it.
