"17th Tactical Recon Sqdn sign at their campsite at Binmaley - Known as 'the Wreckoneers" From "Darkroom Soldier": "Wreckoneers Finale. This sign for the 17th Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron marked the beginning of Hill's camp area. Designed and constructed at Binmaley, the sign was moved to Ie Shima and reinstalled. While some of Hill's squadron went on to Chofu, Japan, he -- with nintey-five points -- had started for Manila and the long voyage home." ("Darkroom Soldier" caption authored by George Venn)
