Evidently looking for the perfect downhill location, a group of skiers have set up a small, two tent camp on the side of a snow covered mountain. Only one person is out in the snow, but there are numerous sets of skis and poles sticking upright…

Standing out in the midst of a winter wonderland, a cross country skiier stops to pose with poles in hands.

"December 8, 1977 - Skiing" A cross country skier makes his way along the streets of downtown La Grande, OR. Cars are mostly parked along the sides of the road and near the businesses.
