"1949-50 Ski Weekend - Spout Springs"

"Skiing is one of the sports enjoyed at the Eastern Oregon College of Education." A number of students in warm pants and sweaters gather outside of Inlow Hall near the Grand Staircase to ski on the hillside there.

"EOSC Women's Sports" Wearing a dark colored ski suit with a sponsorship label on the front, goggles and a stocking cap with a pom-pom on top, a woman competes in a downhill run.

Wearing shorts, a pair of skis and sunglasses, a young man carries his ski poles. Obviously ignoring the cold, he is ready for his next downhill run. Behind him, passengers are carried on a ski lift.

"December 8, 1977 - Skiing" A cross country skier makes his way along the streets of downtown La Grande, OR. Cars are mostly parked along the sides of the road and near the businesses.
