Description
"Food delivery to a mining camp Load lists: apples, peaches, pears, beans, sweet potatoe, corn, bananas, plums, grapes, tomatos, cucumbers, lettuce, cabbage, eggplant, carrots, beets, onions, potatoes, bread, cookies, pies, and eggs They take such a load each week 42 miles to a camp at 8,500 ft elevation. Does not say whether mining or lumber, but would guess mining. Card is addressed to John N. Riggle 'Dear Bro & Family' Wallowa, Oregon. Sent by Albert Riggle - card was not actually mailed so there is no postmark for date or sending location. California license plate. Would guess the vehicle to be a 'white' - confirmed"
