"Moss Family Golden Wedding Celebration - 1900 - Came to the Grande Ronde Valley in 1862 with Yount train - along with the Gekelers and McAlisters - Pictured house, now demolished, was on Hunter Lane, west side, first house north of Booth Lane - Union County, Oregon In the Golden Wedding picture, front row left is Willard Moss, in his lap is Guy Moss, brother of Merle Moss Fulton, boys with hats are cousins, the Couch twins. Boy with cap is Irvin Moss, brother of Lema Moss Fuller, girl with black ribbon around her neck is Lillian McCall, a friend, next is Isis Moss Adler. Third from right is Harvey McAlister. Lady in white blouse and dark skirt is Jane Moss Holman, sister of Willard Moss. The lady next to the lady dressed in all white is Rebecca McAlister. First names of the Moss couple whose golden wedding it is, is not known. (Possibly: William D. Moss - born: Dec. 15, 1828 and Sarah Moss - born: Jan. 2, 1834)" Next to Willard is "John Moss," Willard's twin, "Willis Moss, Henry Moss, James Moss, and Grandma & Grandpa Moss."
