"February 1983 - Smoker" Fourteen images taken during a 1983 Boxing Smoker. The referee in the ring appears to be Jack Earnest. [These amateur boxing matches came to be known as "smokers" because of the amount of cigarette and cigar smoke that would fill the air during the match.]
