"Alberto T. Abaya and his wife Corason. Cora was the sister of Roberto Villanueva who was a writer for the 'Manila Post' newspaper. Alberto was a civil engineer. At 315 Cataluna Street" From "Darkroom Soldier": "My Choice of Friends. Mr. and Mrs. Alberto T. Abaya were brother-in-law and sister of Roberto and Corazon Villanueva. The soldiers later met Rudolph, Roberto Villanueva's brother, who showed the visitors the city. At night, the soldiers slept in the former Japanese prison on the Santo Tomas University campus where several thousand American, British, Australian, and European prisoners had been recently liberated."
