Standing out in the midst of a winter wonderland, a cross country skiier stops to pose with poles in hands.

"11/17/1978" Wearing a dark colored coat and jeans, a cross country skier slides along through fairly deep snow amongst evergreen trees shrouded in fluffy white.

"December 8, 1977 - Skiing" A cross country skier makes his way along the streets of downtown La Grande, OR. Cars are mostly parked along the sides of the road and near the businesses.
