La Grande, Flower Show 1
Flower shows
"1936 - A Flower show in the Grand Ball Room of the La Grande Hotel. Portrait Photographer Cecil Ager was asked to photograph it. The dance floor was spring loaded and moved when anyone walked - so a time exposure was not possible. 'Victor' flash powder got a good picture, but filled the room with smoke."
